Pemberton Group Develops U Condos in Toronto


A few years ago St. Michael’s College sold some of its  vacant land on Bay Street and St. Mary’s Street. The sale went to a developing company called the Pemberton Group, and the end result will be a project called U Condominiums. With two towers planned at 45 and 55 floors on top of a 3 storey podium are lined at the bottom with contemporary 3 storey townhouses interpreting St. Michael’s College buildings. This will create a stylish stone paved square.

Pemberton Group has currently 6 projects under way and over 1,400 suites. The company has been around for over 50 years, and has developed numerous commercial and residential properties. After a few years of studying English and History at the University of Toronto, I decided to transfer to Ryerson University and pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree. While studying, I worked various jobs where I acquired many skills.
