Market Wharf Toronto by Context

“Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice” is what condominium developer Context says about its new development Market Wharf across the street from St. Lawrence Market in Toronto. Market Wharf  will be a mixed height condo development around Front Street and Lower Jarvis. With an 8 storey red brick main building attached to a 25 storey tower. The building will have a little of everything. Red brick to match the historic St. Lawrence Marktet that once housed the Mayor’s Office and modernized glass to add a new age look to the Toronto skyline.

Iconic Context Design

Context Development was founded  by Stephen Gross and Howard Cohen in 1997. Since then the company has gone on to do some of Toronto’s well know and innovative projects. Tip Top Tailor Lofts, Spire Condominums, The Loretto and the new Library District Condosminiums are some of their recent projects. Context has received various awards for its attention to “green” construction and living, including the City of Toronto Architecture and Urban Design Award. Like the projects before, Market Wharf is going to be a beauty.

Lobby

The neighborhood is full of life and activity. A variety of restaurants and cafes bring people of all walks of life to the area. In the vicinity you have retailers and major chains like: Lettieri, Pravda Vodka Bar, LCBO, Spring Rolls, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Aveda, Hiro Sushi, Pizza Pizza, Reservoir Lounge, Sultans Tent, Bier Markt, Jamie Kennedy Wine Bar, and Metro grocery store. With the waterfront redevelopment project going on, this property is sure to appreciate in value quickly. With a short walk to Toronto’s Sugar Beach and Ash Bridges Bay and connections to the TTC this is a great and vibrant area to live in.

With only a few units left, the most sought after units are on the Historic West side showing all of downtown Toronto and Lake Ontario. Units started at 525 square feet for a 1 bedroom all the way to 1920 square feet for a 2 bedroom plus den Penthouse.  The finishes are above standard to most developments. A great deal of attention is paid to make the building energy efficient and green. Below are some of the unit floor plans for the project.

About wojciechpianka

After a few years of studying English and History at the University of Toronto, I decided to transfer to Ryerson University and pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree. While studying, I worked various jobs where I acquired many skills. Starting as a teller at Scotiabank, I moved on to being a manager of a restaurant, admin staff at a medical clinic, a sales agent for INGDirect and a manager at One King West Hotel. While all these jobs challenged me, I never felt my potential being utilized. Finally in 2008, I completed the Ontario Mortgage Agent Course and signed up with The Mortgage Alliance Company of Canada. This was a great decision, as it allowed me to use the skills I learned working to help people achieve their real estate and financial goals. My passion for real estate and numbers has lead me to becoming a mortgage agent. Growing up in New York City, I always had a fascination of historic buildings and skyscrapers. At 21, I bought my 1st property and have been investing in real estate ever since. I firmly believe thru steady, safe and conservative investing a one can obtain long term financial wealth. One day, I hope to develop the same buildings I help clients purchase.
